Miriam completed her teacher training at the
Dharma Yoga Center
in 2005. She has taught at Yoga Perú in Lima and
is currently available for private and group classes in New York City.
"Miriam’s yoga class was the best I have ever taken. From beginning to end her heart was in the class
and we could sense it. I was inspired by how she always brought a snippet of her own personal experiences
into the initial 'thought for the day' chat. I realized that we had only been doing the physical part of
a yoga practice; she took it to the next level and we all improved tremendously. After more than two years
of practice it took her only a few months to get me to stand on my head – and I don't mean just literally."

"Miriam's class is a beautiful combination of the message of her words, her soothing voice,
the tough postures, the rhythm of the class, the music she plays, the attention she gives to each posture
and the peace that stays with you after each class. I was hooked from the first moment."

"It was very inspirational to have Miriam as a yoga teacher. Her technique can be very
physical and energetic, but does not neglect the spiritual side that transcends the simple physical work
of the body. In the practice I learned through her, I discovered the strength and flexibility that allow me to
understand the reaches of my own body and the calm and peace that motivate me to try to be a better person."

"I had been practicing Yoga for 2 years prior to Miriam’s arrival. With Miriam’s classes I was
able to reach a higher level both physically and spiritually. She changed the way we approach our Yoga learning."
